1. Cookies

Cookies are small data or text files that are placed on your local computer by websites and applications. Cookies can have different purposes: there are technical cookies (e.g. for keeping track of language settings), session cookies (temporary cookies that expire after one session) and tracking cookies (cookies that keep track of your behaviour on the internet in order to offer you a more optimal user experience).
The Belgian Law of 13 June 2005 regarding electronic communication contains a few stipulations related to cookies and their use on websites. The law translates the European Union's privacy directive, which means that the cookie legislation can be implemented differently in other European member states.
FDS Promotions is domiciled in Belgium and therefore follows Belgian legislation related to cookies.

2. Purpose and usefulness of cookies

FDS Promotions wants to inform every visitor to the platform/website as thoroughly as possible about their rights under Belgian law regarding cookies, and about which cookies FDS Promotions uses. By using the platform/website, the visitor agrees with the use of cookies. Cookies help FDS Promotions to optimise your visit to the platform/website, remember technical choices (e.g. a language choice, a newsletter, etc.) and show you more relevant services and offers.

If you want to consult the platform/website of FDS Promotions, we recommend enabling the technical settings for cookies. With cookies disabled, FDS Promotions cannot guarantee a problem-free visit to the platform/website. If you do not want cookies, you are free to disable them.

•    Essential/Strictly necessary cookies: these cookies are needed to enable the platform/website to function and cannot be disabled in our systems. Usually, they are only enabled in reaction to actions that you took, such as setting your privacy preferences, logging in or completing forms. They are required for good communication, and they make it easier to navigate (e.g. returning to a previous page, etc.).
•    Non-essential cookies: these cookies are not strictly necessary to enable the platform/website to function, but they help us offer an improved and personalised website.
o    Functional cookies: these cookies enable the platform/website to offer improved functionality and personalisation. They can be enabled by us or by external providers whose services we have added to our pages.
o    Analytical cookies: with these cookies, we can keep track of visits and traffic so that we can measure and improve the performance of our platform/website. They help us know which pages are the most and least popular and how visitors move through the platform/website.
o    Targeting/advertising cookies: our advertising partners can enable these cookies via our platform/website. Those companies can use them to draw up a profile of your interests and show you relevant ads on other websites.
We use our own cookies as well as the cookies of carefully selected partners with whom we collaborate and who advertise our services on their website.
